The Clearwater Rotary Club has once again ‘taken to the ice’ and plunked ageless Rotary Richard out on the ice of Dutch Lake for the countdown to spring. The community fundraiser is an annual event where residents guess when Richard will finally take a cold plunge when the ice finally melts off the lake in Clearwater. You almost can’t help but feel a bit gloomy for old Richard as he stands staunchly in the fog. Who knows what the weather will bring. (Photo by: Zephram Tino)
