The Raft Mountain Skating Club (RMSC) presented their annual Christmas ice show, “A Musician’s Christmas Skating Gala”, on Dec. 14. Admission to the show was free, but the group accepted donations for the Clearwater and Area Food Bank.
The RMSC is a local non-profit club that has been in existence since 1975, and is operated by volunteers.
The show was held at the North Thompson Sportsplex and inspired a holiday feeling of warmth as guests watched the skaters perform beautifully. Bouquets were available for purchase, so that the family and friends of the performers could gift them to the skaters.
The performance which showcased all the new skills the club members — who span a wide variety of ages and skill levels — have learned to date.
