The North Thompson Arts Council (NTAC) has been working hard to come back from the pandemic period.

We are looking forward to many events planned for The Gallery, which has held shows in our space in the Seniors’ Activity Centre in Evergreen Acres, including John Revill, the Red Umbrella, entries from the Art’s Alive event and more.

The NTAC’s goal is to raise money toward paying the rent on The Gallery, and to continue to raise awareness of the Arts Council and its work. The NTAC will continue to host shows in the New Year, including a photography exhibit from local photographers in February.

This December, members of the NTAC and friends are hosting an arts and craft fair on the third weekend of December. Participants include quilters, fibre arts artists, woodcarvers, painters, jewellers and more, all with work for sale. There will be a silent auction with work donated by members.

No Christmas event would be complete without a visit from Santa, who will be there all weekend and is available for professional photos for a very reasonable fee.

We invite the community to stop in, say hello, do some shopping or just buy a cookie and coffee from the bake table.
