The Clearwater Volunteer Fire Department held the annual Easter Egg Hunt for kids and families on April 18 at the fire hall on Clearwater Village Road with a record crowd attending.
The annual Clearwater Volunteer Fire Department’s (CVFD) Easter Egg Hunt for kids up to 12 years old, took place on Friday, April 18 starting at noon at the Clearwater Volunteer Fire Hall with a great crowd of egg seekers hunting down the goodies and treats. The hunting grounds were around the fire hall where kids armed with baskets, buckets and bags scooped up sweet chocolate and candy-coated loot.
Ember the FireSmart mascot was on hand to help the hunters and many volunteers assisted in the delicious barbecue, games and fun.
The special event is held each year in memory of fallen firefighter, Chad Schapansky, thanks to the hard work of many volunteers.
