The Chemainus Wednesday Market returns to Waterwheel Square on May 29, marking the start of its 2025 season.
Running weekly from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Sept. 17, the open-air market features a rotating selection of vendors offering handcrafted goods, fresh produce, baked items, textiles, jewelry and locally made gifts.
Operated under a “Make It, Bake It, Grow It” philosophy, the market highlights local artisans and growers from across the region.
Live music, a central location, and the artistic charm of Chemainus contribute to the event’s popularity with residents and visitors alike.
Organizers describe the market as "a seasonal community tradition that celebrates the area's creativity while supporting local makers and growers."
