Adopt a resident for the holidays at Forest View Place

The Forest View Place adopt a resident program is underway and community members can sign up to provide a gift bag to brighten a residents holiday until Dec. 16.

Forest View Place is now inviting the community of Clearwater to sign up to its “Adopt a Resident” program for the holidays.

The long-term care facility attached to Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital announced on Nov. 23 the tree is in place for sign-ups by community friends and family that wish to donate a gift bag to a resident(s) living in Forest View.

To be part of this annual way to brighten the lives of Forest View residents drop by Dr. Helmcken Memorial and choose an ornament from the adoption tree. The residents and staff have provided a resident wishlist on the ornaments with a corresponding number. Signing up includes providing the residents number (on the ornament) and your contact information.

Gifts for the residents should be returned in a gift bag to the DHMH patient ambassador at the hospital’s main entrance no later than Dec. 16.

The ambassador /greeter for the hospital will be available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to assist in any questions you may have and help with your donation.
